Attracting Young People into the
land based sector
Labour availability could be one of
the most significant factors affecting land based business in the
future. A small research project is now looking at how to encourage
young people into the industry. |

Rural Youth Network
The Rural Youth Network is a unique
organisation brigning together organisations who are engaged in work
with young people as well as rural development. |

RAZ
The South Holland RAZ boasts a
groundbreaking programme to tackle the problem of teenage pregnancy. |
CAST
Schemes such as CAST empower young
people and help to develop a sense of social responsibility.
Additionally it teaches employable skills particularly suited to the
rural economy! |
Rural Youth Partnership Dream Team
At the Emraf meeting on April 29th, Charlie Underwood, chair of the Rutland Youth Partnership gave a presentation about the way young people are included in Rutland through the Youth Partnership's Dream Team. This article lists the dreams and issues affecting the young people of Rutland and features the Dream Team model for the inclusion of young people. |
