East Midlands ACRE Network is the network of Rural Community Councils working in the region with partner organisations to achieve an improved quality of life in which all members of rural communities can share.
EMAN recently merged with R3N to continue to ensure that the wider third sector has a voice in regional rural policy development. EMAN will continue to support R3N partners through its regional influencing, capacity building and intelligence sharing activities.
The strategic aims of EMAN are:
- To significantly influence regional policy and service development to ensure equity for rural communities.
- To support and develop the capacity and infrastructure of the Rural Community Councils and wider EMAN network partners.
- To enable the sustainability of Rural Community Councils and support the sustainability of the wider VCS network working with rural communities.
